Mark Crumpacker has dedicated his career to understanding human behavior and how it impacts the products and marketing brands develop. Mark believes strongly in the power of well-crafted content and emotional storytelling to drive marketing messages. Until March 2018, Mark Crumpacker was Chipotle's Chief Marketing & Strategy Officer at Chipotle. While at Chipotle, Mark worked to assemble an incredibly talented internal team and a group of external agencies, artists, animators, writers and producers to help bring the Chipotle story to life. Much of the credit for the work on this site goes to those people.
In addition to his role as Chief Marketing & Strategy Officer, Mark served as President of the Chipotle Cultivate Foundation, a charitable foundation established by Chipotle in 2011 as a way of promoting a more sustainable, healthful and equitable food future. Mark is also a member of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences related to his role in the production of digital and television content.
Prior to joining Chipotle, he was the founder and CEO at Sequence, a San Francisco-based branding and interactive agency which was recently acquired by Salesforce. Prior to Sequence, Mark served as the CEO and Executive Creative director at Studio Archetype and led its sale to Sapient in 1997.
Mark is now pursuing a food-tech startup dedicated to bringing fresh food to more people in more places than ever before.
